GTB-495 is an airless paint sprayer with a 1500 W brushless DC motor: consistent torque, high running efficiency and no carbon-brush wear. Its piston-type fluid section is rated at 3,300 PSI (227 bar / 22.7 MPa) Max. Working Pressure and the drive carries overheat protection. It is specified for water-based architectural coatings, with oil-based enamels and lacquers handled on a conditional basis per the coating data sheet. Stainless steel and dual-ceramic versions are available.

GTB-495 combines a 1500W brushless DC motor with a piston-type fluid section, offered as a Dual-Ceramic Version or a Stainless Steel Version. Maximum flow rate is 2.2 L/min. On latex paint, acrylic wall paints and water-based primers it produces a fine, even spray finish.

How Electronic Pressure Control Works
Pressure is set on a potentiometer. A pressure sensor reads the actual pressure; the main control board compares that reading with the set value and drives the motor accordingly.

Why does the GTB-495 use a brushless motor?
The GTB-495 runs a 1500 W brushless DC motor. A brushless drive gives consistent torque, high running efficiency and no carbon-brush wear, so there are no brushes to replace over the service life of the motor.
What tip sizes and flow does the GTB-495 support?
Rated flow is 2.2 L/min and the maximum tip size is 0.021 in. A 519 tip is supplied. Under typical industry tip numbering, the last two digits give the orifice in thousandths of an inch, so a 519 is a .019 in orifice.
Can the GTB-495 spray oil-based enamels and lacquers?
Conditionally. Oil-based and alkyd enamels, oil-based primers and stains, nitrocellulose and catalyzed lacquers, varnishes, polyurethanes and shellac are in the conditional class: follow the coating data sheet for tip size and thinning, keep the sprayer, hose, gun and pail grounded, ventilate, and keep at least 6 m (20 ft) from ignition sources.
Which version should I order, stainless steel or dual-ceramic?
Both are in production. The Stainless Steel Version pairs a stainless steel rod with a stainless steel cylinder liner. The Dual-Ceramic Version pairs a ceramic-coated rod with a ceramic-lined cylinder sleeve (stainless shell, ceramic bore). Motor, flow and pressure ratings are the same; choose by the coatings and duty you run.
